ACT – Upper Extremity: Stretching and StrengtheningSessions: June 10th – 9am – 5pm Overview:Class Name: Upper Extremity: Stretching and Strengthening Class Description: This course will teach you how to properly stretch and strengthen the muscles of the pectoral area, shoulder, arm and forearm. You will have a clear understanding of the role that muscle spindles and golgi tendon organs play when stretching a client. You will learn at least one strengthening exercise for each muscle discussed, none of which require any equipment! Each student will receive a booklet with each stretch and strengthening exercise clearly explained. This is primarily a hands-on class, so please come prepared to work and be worked on!
